My girl, this is exactly what they do. It was the behaviour of my dad and brother everyday when we were younger and as a result I grew up with severe social anxiety and a whole laundry list of trauma related issues. I fear however, the intelligence and maturity levels of a large portion of males in our society, are not where they need to be for their brains to even understand what you’re actually hinting at. That fact in itself is so scary to me.

I think the problem is money. The idea of a one income earning person (trad man) and a homemaker (trad female) keeps both genders in a high-stress life that crumbles w/ illness, job loss, children growing up, etc. It pigeon-holes people (men have no friends outside of work & spend their days fighting for advancement; women do too much - children, household, unpaid work out of house, etc.). You can see this in both high avg income countries and countries w/ high poverty.
