Introduce yourself to everyone around you as soon as possible. Incredibly helpful to know your neighbors. Bring sleeping earplugs. Even if you stay out late late, it’s so worth it to worth it to get to showers right when they open to avoid lines later. Have headlamps or flash light.

Look into a camping cot over an inflatable mattress. Practice setting your campsite up before you get there. Don’t bring new packaging, open and test everything before you go.

Rent a U-Haul van and air mattress. My gf and I have done this for multiple lost lands and it’s the best way to get sleep. You can attach clips/tarp off the back to make a shaded seated area during the day

I've been to 6 lost Lands and camped at all of them. If you're driving you can bring a lot of things that make it easier/ nicer air mattress etc. If you're doing GA car camping try to get there early or you'll be quite far away.

Get the forest camping the shade from the trees are clutch, or get a canopy to put over your tent, the morning sun is tough

Mindset is key. Don't think about the things you don't have. Focus on the experience and the stories you'll have for the rest of your life. You're going to survive whether you're comfortable or not. Make the best of it.

Tapestries make great blankets and don’t take up to much room. Also bring two or three battery packs

Get an easy up tent. Make sure you have a tarp to put ur tent on. So if it rains you’re not on the actual ground. And get a canopy to put over ur tent and make sure you bring a table to put ur things on. And bring some form of light
