idk why ppl act like both relationships can’t exist. bix was the love of cassian’s life. jyn was a comrade he was attracted to (and who was attracted to him) and they were going to die, so they found comfort in each other. both relationships are elevated and given so much more pathos by the other imo

I think Jyn reminded him of Bix before she was hurt. He was drawn to jyn’s fire and passion bc it reminded him of the love of his life. Both loves were real, but Bix had his heart.

I love Bix as a character but I needed more of their love story buildup instead of just basically being told they were back together and had known each other forever. It just doesn’t hit the same to me as Jyn and Cass!

Cassian never stopped loving Bix, make no mistake. But Cassian knew he wasnt going to live to see tommorow if he was going to Scariff, and espetially so at the top of that tower. He saw a lot of what made him love Bix in Jyn, and I think they both deserved to feel something good in the end after everything they'd been through, after everything they gave— and if what Cassian felt in his last moments was for Jyn, he deserved that too
