Now let me start off by saying… You don’t need to do every single one of these things. Choose 1 or 2 to focus on and then add on more if reach and engagement still aren’t picking up 1- consume less, create more — I don’t necessarily mean post more (though that is something you could experiment with), what I mean is spend more time in your creative zone of genius vs just running through the motions of posting. I also think that sometimes just getting out of your head and not being so focused on the numbers is a great way to break lose from the slower growth & find the fun in IG again 2- repurpose top performing content — look at top performing content from 3-4 months ago and repurpose it (not repost). Turn carousels into reels or vice versa. Or just simply take a reel that did well in the past and post an updated version 3- spend time interacting with your community — turn to your community & make sure you’re getting feedback on what they want to see + making them feel like a part of your business by asking for opinions, suggestions, and feedback 4- look at the data and adjust — this is a great time to get deep in the data. I recommend creating a spreadsheet so you can see your data from a new perspective and adjust your strategy based on your findings (I teach this in IGU) 5- focus on improving reach & business outside of IG — start and/or build your email list, focus on website SEO, better your marketing for offers, pitch podcasts to be a guest speaker, etc. 6- do an explore page analysis — look at the structure and format of the content to see what’s working on IG right now & take notes 7- simplify your content — go back to the basics: is your content save worthy? is your content capturing AND holding attention? is it clear who your content is for & what problem it solves? does your follower have a clear “next step” after each post? sometimes we forget about the basics in the hustle and bustle of business Bonus — give yourself grace!
