There are moments in life when a simple YouTube channel becomes so much more than entertainment. It becomes a part of your routine, a source of joy, inspiration, and a way to feel connected to the great outdoors even when you're stuck inside. That’s exactly what The Outdoor Boys have been for me—and especially him. The man behind the lens, the father with the big heart, the adventurer with the wild spirit, the creator who turned every upload into a story, a lesson, and a breath of fresh air. I don’t even know if he’ll ever see this, but if he does, I hope he knows how deeply appreciated he is. There’s something special about watching someone live fully, with honesty and passion. Every fishing trip, every camping night under the stars, every makeshift wilderness project or homemade gadget—he brought it all to life in such a genuine and engaging way. It wasn't about the production quality or the trends. It was about the bond he shared with nature, with his kids, with us—the audience. That was the magic. His videos taught me how to tie knots, build shelters, start fires, catch fish, and appreciate the raw beauty of the world around us. But more than that, he taught me about patience, family, and finding happiness in the simple things. Watching him with his kids—laughing, teaching, exploring—it reminded me of what truly matters. Not the screen time or the hustle, but real memories, made in real places, with real people. That’s why it’s been so hard not seeing new uploads. I get it—life changes. Priorities shift, and maybe stepping away was what he needed. But I can’t help but miss that familiar excitement every time a new video dropped. I miss the anticipation of what adventure he’d take us on next. I miss the humor, the honesty, the calm voice explaining a survival skill or the smile when a fish was

When my dad died, i was angry all the time, even with my family, but then one night, i was smoking very hard (2-3 packs a day) and that night, it was 1 or 2 in the morning, i found a video, a video about survival in the heavy snow, since that day he changed me, i will always look at his videos before bed, legend, legacy.
