For most folks the only thing AWD does is guarantee they’ll by 4 tires every time you only need 1 or 2 tires.

Subaru has better reliability and hybrid option now. Nothing will be Subaru for me nothing. I love my forester. I have 2025 touring it’s the best. My husband has a 2018 Impreza and he loves it too

Forester is really bad, specifically 2014 to 2018. CVT is really bad. Engine burns 1gallon oil per 1000miles. Just not reliable at all!

Bought a rav4 on 2019 for 26.5k and now after 6 years of trouble free resale value is around 20k. Can’t beat that.

My mom has a Subaru, it’s great. I have 2 RAV4s both 2016 SEs. Also a 1990 manual Miata, a 1998 manual CRV, a 2007 FJ cruiser and I’ll get an Audi Q5 next. They are ALL great.

Subaru forester hybrid. AWD is mechanical, and the hybrid tech is most likely Toyota. The best of both worlds.
