Back in the day, I didn’t really get why some people wished karma on others after they’d been hurt. I thought it was kind of unhealthy to react that way. But everything changed for me when I went through my own tough situation with someone who made me really miserable and messed with my mental health. That experience brought out feelings in me that I never knew were there like a strong desire for justice and wanting things to be fair again. Suddenly, I found myself hoping that this person would face some consequences for what they did. It made me realize that going through emotional pain can bring up a lot of complicated feelings that are hard to deal with. This whole situation opened my eyes to how messy human emotions can be, and how sometimes we struggle between feeling compassionate and wishing for revenge.
