Let’s be real—this isn’t the kind of advice that goes viral.
It’s not flashy. It’s not extreme.
But this is what finally helped me stay consistent the last 6 years without falling back into the all-or-nothing spiral. All I’ve done the past 4 months is doubled down on these habits. I’m more intentional with my training (4-5 x per week) - like actually pushing myself and progressively overloading Eating well balanced meals and not restricting Walking 10-12k steps daily Im not doing cardio (not that it’s bad for you, I noticed it’s more draining for me and takes away from my training intensity). I’m not obsessing over being PERFECT. I used to think that if I wasn’t doing everything perfectly, it didn’t count.
That if I didn’t see instant results, it wasn’t working.
That if I messed up one day, I had to start over on Monday. Everything I’ve done the past couple of months is just more intentional.
Not perfect—just intentional.
I stopped chasing quick fixes and started choosing consistency over chaos. What changed? Everything.
Not just my body, but how I treat it. How I respect it. This video might seem simple, but it’s the foundation that helped me keep the progress I used to constantly lose... and chase all over again. Some of the notes are inspired by a video I saw in 2023 that stuck with me—
So if you’re tired of the rollercoaster, this is your reminder:
You don’t need a whole new life.
You just need to stop giving up on yourself every time it gets hard. If you want support on your journey apply for 1:1 coaching with @liftswithalex
