Dementia is so hard. She will drift away, and then come back. It’s like losing them over and over again. With my Gram we just tried to remember to be grateful for every moment with her. Happy she’s still got her sense of humor. I’m so sorry you all are going through this. May you give her and eachother grace. Sending all my love.

My grandpa has dementia, it’s grown more severe and he doesn’t remember me anymore or his wife of 60 years. But he still knows he loves me. Praying for you on this journey, it’s not easy but I swear the extra time with them is the best blessing
