@rundawggym: We work with all breeds and temperaments of dogs. For some dogs, it isn't just about the exercise they can't get anywhere else because of their reactivity. Through "trigger exposure" we let the dog work through that aggression in a safe manner, ultimately allowing them to realize that all that rage isn't a solution. "Proximity work" allows us to be near the human reactive dog in a safe way, keeping enough distance to not get bit as they lash out. Through calm interaction with the dog during these episodes, the dog realizes that this tactic isn't working, and the trigger isn't going away no matter how much they lash out. Over time, the dog realizes you are not a threat, and the dramatics are not necessary. This kind of work isn't for everyone, and takes experience. It can be scary, but seeing the dogs progress over time makes it all worth it. #rundawg #mobiledoggym #dogexercise #reactivedog

I love that you can see the exact moment it realizes you’re not intimidated and it’s not getting anywhere close to you 😂
