I had convinced myself that you didn't say edible and that I misheard animal. I then rewatched it and realized no, I heard you correctly... I don't know how I feel about that 😅

if dolphins are more intelligent than humans then why don't we use dolphin brain cells to build computational brain organoids?

the bug robots remind me of an old anime called "Blue Gender" post apolocalyptic anime where the world got overrun by giant bio robot bugs

It would be cool if they made a little pool robot that saw around and picked leaves and bugs. But it just has a net big enough for like 1 leaf and then a little barge where he dumps his collection

the problem with the AI option is that it's based on information, so can still miss the better options. The programs are excellent at rendering down large amounts of data and pulling what is relevant. they don't truly think, however

YesYesYes!! More adaptations of movement in nature for more specialized robot and AI uses! Absolutely more efficient and likely to uncover tertiary discoveries about the effects and uses of their movement.

I'd say we're all gonna be morbidly obese living in communities like WallE because there will be machines for everything... but we're all gonna starve because we cant afford food.

well, in our defense, humans lean more towards versatility, not efficiency
If someone is trying to create a humanoid robot we should be very weary of their actual intentions (marketing, exits, etc). The humanoid robot is largely a scam, since it’s a flawed form not specific to a certain task

Humanoid robots work well for 10 to 20 years for most use cases because all processes are currently optimized for humans, so easy swap...

Makes sense, we need things that can do what we cannot. If we make them humanoid it just becomes redundant.
