the healing power comes from God not the medicine or the doctor's skill. Doctors are considered instruments through which God's healing occurs. Reliance on God, along with seeking treatment, is a core part of this belief.👍

Actually- as a physician, this pisses me off. I’ve been in like 12hr surgeries where I saw heroic works by the whole medical team. Then “THANK YOU LORD, THANK YOU JESUS”- I’m like, actually, the nurse got an impossible IV & pumped meds in <30sec

Explain this, as soon as i prayed for the first time all of my mental illnesses, anxiety, the voices in my head, depression, the demons and figures i kept seeing, the gorey dreams i kept dreaming, the constant feeling of paranoia and dread, they all went away, all of them, the very second i started praying.

there are cases of people healing miraculously, you just choose not to seek those stories. also, cancer treatment doesn't always work. as for miscarriages, evil/bad things in the world happen. without them, we'd loose our choice to free will.

They also only attribute the good stuff to him. Kid gets cured of cancer? God healed him. But completely ignores the fact God would have given it to the kid in the first place.

Not true. My mom was hemorrhaging after birth and the docs couldn’t stop it. No meds works, nothing. They brought us in to say goodbye to her. My aunt turned on the tv and a pastor was yelling “you shall not die, but live” and the bleeding stopped immediately and never returned. That was us seeing spirituality in an entire different light. Science told us to get her funeral ready.
