“Don’t be sleeping on your level cause it’s beauty in the struggle”. This week my family and I took a Roadtrip to Florida. It ended up being an 18 hour drive. Most people on roadtrips typically scroll on their phones, listen to music, catch up on sleep or maybe even read a book. I worked on my content nonstop, brain storming ideas that were relatable and fun yet authentically me then writing them down. (Habakkuk 2:2 “And the Lord answered me: Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he who reads it may run”). Everything that I do, I’m constantly thinking about or creating content. Pursing content creation is NOT for the weak and social media ain’t what it used to be but I ask myself “how hungry are you for it”? There was a time I used to complain and complain about how hard this industry is. How no one values or even acknowledges my hard work. How I spend hours and hours, days and days to even weeks on creating content, editing videos, learning and studying the everchaning algorithm, putting my literal blood, sweat and tears into my craft just for it not to be successful. 99.9% of my successful videos weren’t paid and every video that I’ve hit over 1M views on, I received little to nothing for. People will see my page and automatically think I’m getting bread from it, not even knowing I’m only able to still create because of my faith and genuine love for it. I’m truly learning how to fall in love with the process. Praying that one day it’ll all pay off. If you’ve made it this far in this caption, I believe it reached you for a reason! KEEP GOING!
