@therealmelindastrauss: Replying to @Alexis Geissinger when my teens are done going on their programs, I will definitely share more details with you but for now, I keep the info more general. Price-wise, the travel programs can be between 5-10k based on the program so it’s similar to sleepaway camp #traveltiktok #teensummer #summertravel #jewishtiktok
I love that the Jewish Religion doesn’t try to recruit others but share openly about their faith.

So Christian Mission trips aren’t really about proselytizing… at least none of the ones that I ever went on. They are about showing God’s love through volunteering and doing for others. 🥰

Me :
Most of the Jewish experience is about trying to retain people to the faith in an increasingly secular world.

I want to travel but I have a lot of anxiety around traveling even with family once I get to the destination I am fine and I enjoy it is the part where you are traveling to the destination that is stressful and then the part of traveling to get back home I could never travel somewhere indefinitely with a group of friends. My family also seems to have really bad luck when it comes to traveling last time we went on family vacation my senior year of high school. Our flight got delayed for just about every reason possible because we were waiting for a flight from DC to get to our local airport and they were almost there but then they had to turn around for some reason then like there was mechanical issues and then just a lot was going on we didn’t leave until like 9:30 PM like the airport they went and got like free snacks. They gave us meal vouchers and then when we came back our flight back, it got delayed and then it got delayed again like we’ve learned our lesson work getting ourselves a hotel we didn’t land in DC until like midnight. We went to bed at like 1 AM and got up at 4 AM and like when we checked into the airport, the airline put us in the pilot that we’re getting ready to go there. Oh my gosh, I’ve never seen it get this bad you know it’s bad when your flight gets delayed that many times with the pilots are you are going and heard about it and are talking about itso yeah and I kind of feel like I’m a boring person because I haven’t gone to like all of these places are like done things

As a Christian most mission trips are not about sharing our faith idk why ppl think that or maybe my experience is different but I haven’t been on any mission trip with the purpose to convert ppl, they have been about helping people who need help 💗
