I disagree with the mental health part. For example, I am insecure about my nose and it is starting to affect my mental health, which is why I don’t go out anymore. That doesn’t mean it is permissible for me to cosmetically change my nose. Allah swt created us in a way that suits us perfectly. He shaped us with wisdom and precision with every detail exactly as it should be. As the Quran says ‘’Indeed, We have created man in the best of forms.’’ (Surah At-Tien 95:4). Our value does not lie in outward perfection but in how we develop our hearts and characters. It is not up to us to change what He has created with love and knowledge.

That last part about being insecure and it affecting your mental health no scholar in history has ever made cosmetic surgery permissable on these grounds especially in this modern age so be careful when giving out advice like this.

I did the lasik eye surgery (before reverting even) but as far as I am aware it's allowed because you are fixing your vision. If you break your glasses multiple times it becomes more expensive than the surgery and it helps you to see without glasses. It has been life changing for me

Dear Sisters... I have normal eyes & alhamdulillah never complained about my body's. ± 15 y a go I was diagnosed with Hypertiroid which course my eyes become bigger like I was angry/mad/bad people all time. Can I do plastic surgery for my eyes so it become normal like it was? Thank you
