Please can we reconsider introducing a national selection competition? I KNOW WHAT YOURE ALL THINKING! “We did it before and it was rubbish” but the thing is it doesn’t NEED to be rubbish. Quality control the short list, do it Melodifest style, include an international jury vote, test the acts in a live arena setting, get the fans engaged.. it could do wonders for the competitions public perception here. We need to do SOMETHING different, we’re always so out of step with what Europe wants from us. Please can we at least CONSIDER it for 2026?
