people don't get the "nothing ever happens" philosophy. my guy of course things happens however, since WW2 there was no event that changed or altered the geopolitical status quo of the world, war in Ukraine, Gaza and Sudan you name it al of those are literally the status quo (Russia attack it neighbors, Israelis killing Palestinians, Sudanese having their 3rd civil war) literally nothing new so indeed nothing ever happens. furthermore the philosophy itself state that "Since no major event since WW2 changed the dynamics of how the world global powers interact with other then NOTHING EVER HAPPENS." and thus a random war between two insignificant countries can't and will never prove this theory wrong threats of Taiwan invasion? Nothing happened, a possible nuclear war between India and Pakistan? Nothing happened, the stock market crash? Nothing happened.

The price the middle class pays for their lives, IS the blind-eye they cast towards what we do to the rest of the world 😭 it’s SO dangerous to have the, “nothing ever happens mentality” because there are so many groups dedicated to making sure you don’t SEE what’s happening until 50 years later, then you’ll be like, “woah!!!
