would u say doing 2 weeks of in person work experience is enough? or do i need more. Also im doing bsms virtual work experience. I did the gold crest at the start of yr12 and now im doing epq. The only volunteering opportunity for me would be during september. And ive also done the biology olympiad but still waiting for the results

Hi, I’m in yr10, but just want to know what I can be doing to get a head start: I’m already reading couple books, part of newspaper team, bio tutoring , and a couple online work exp. But I would like to do stuff over the holidays as well as getting hopefully good GCSE grades! How did u get the volunteering and gp shadowing opportunities? Thanks for the help any ways!

For reading I also recommend reading “The Health Gap” by Michael marmot, it’s really good for looking at the social determinants of health (+I found out while reading that he’s a professor at UCL!)
