You see how they got you eating all the right things because THIS IS the type of stuff your suppose to eat , I work at a hospital and my mother has diabetes as well and the give you a certain type of menu

I watch a lot of her videos and as a type 1 diabetic myself ik it’s not from what she’s eating because she does not eat a lot of carbs or sweets and that’s the biggest factor in controlling your blood sugars

I hope you start feeling better. I was a type 1 diabetic from age 11-26. When I was age 11 I was misdiagnosed with the wrong type of diabetes. The doctor I had didn't test to see if I was a type 1 or 2. Because of that I dealt with a lot of health issues. I was always in DKA. It's no joke. They thought I was either brain dead or had brain damage luckily I made it with no issues with my brain. At age 26 I had a double organ transplant Kidney and Pancreas.

I am a type 1 myself and always been thinner built because of genetics. I was told to go plant based at the age of six when I was diagnosed. My life has been wonderful and easier to manage. Every blue moon I do eat some fired foods and a little candy about once a month if that. I do use a scale to weigh my food everyday even at work. I do read ingredients as I was taught by my nutritionist. I have been to the hospital in years.
