I was an instructor and then a bush pilot. I agree with you and I think the reason why people choose instructing is because you can start flying immediately. A lot of people struggle to find a bush operator that will hire them without working 2+ seasons on the dock or giving them only 50 hours per season

I definitely need some aviation references but definitely can’t just train in the winter. Wish I could push the Wx a bit more, but the flight school is VERY restrictive on when we can fly
