The lollipop lady at my primary school used to give us a different category every day like ‘favourite Pokemon’, ‘favourite colour’ etc & we’d have to think of one before we got to the other side of the road. She also gave us lollipops on the last day of term ❤️

the lollipop men/ladies are for school crossings, kids up to the age of 11. The kids call them that because of the reason that you said. 😊

my lollipop lady was near my school, so she always carried sweets (candy for any americans that are oblivious) and would hand them out for kids, especially in the summer
