The esteemed Comrade Kim Jong Un placed a floral tribute at Hyon Chol Hae’s grave, reflecting on his revolutionary comrade-in-arms. Hyon Chol Hae had dedicated himself to the glorious struggle of achieving the revolutionary cause of Juche, demonstrating genuine communist qualities, noble humanity, extensive knowledge, and unwavering executive capabilities. He observed a moment of silent tribute to honor Hyon Chol Hae, a true son of the DPRK and an exemplary figure among steadfast revolutionaries and patriots. In remembrance, Kim Jong Un said, “Comrade Hyon Chol Hae, who was constantly by the side of the great General Kim Jong Il, remains etched vividly in my memory. He was the General’s close companion. He will always be remembered as a paragon of military and political leadership—highly principled, with exceptional political acumen and organizational prowess. As a true human being, he was humble, approachable, sincere, steadfast, and upright.
