Newsflash, gators bite!!! Reminding everyone once again that although I train gators, they’re still gators!! They can be trained but are NOT tame, not domesticated, not pets and will always be wild animals with all their wild instincts. I see an alarming amount of people with zero survival skills in my comments thinking these animals are tame puppies that don’t bite, they absolutely do! A lot of people forget this with how “easy and normal” I make it look, but never forget it’s always one mistake away from not just injury but very likely death. Not being dramatic, just real. I love them, but they don’t love me. This is something I see lost on many, most people these days really have no real concept of mortality and the permanence of death, everyone thinks there’s some trick that makes this safe or some backup plan to ensure survival—there’s not. It’s real deal, life and death. I of course have skills and ways to minimize this risk and have been handling gators without any major incidents for 20 years, I’m able to conduct myself in a “relatively safe” way, at least by my standards, but I never forget that literal death is always one mistake away. Never try anything you see me doing and always give wild animals space and respect!! ~~~ This is a video of Casper from several years ago at Everglades outpost, which has sold to Lennar Homes. The owners are planning on buying a new property and moving, and that’s all I know. I want to share this memory video, as I want to share a lot of my previous work and videos, but PLEASE understand I am 100% focused on MY sanctuary now. I don’t have updates on Casper, what the outpost is doing, where they’re going, none of that. I’ll likely never do a video with Casper again, I’m doing my thing and just want to share memories, and that’s all I can give you. Please respect that.
