This shouldn't be a paramedics job.
There should be a branch of care that looks after people that leave the hospital if they don't have family/friends to look after them. The hospital needs the room so getting them out and into the next steps is important, but they clearly need more help in terms of care

Patients who are GENUINELY in psychosis don’t know it at the time. If they’ve been discharged that means they’re fit and well, and if there’s no support arranged it’s because they dont need it.
