Not true, depending on how old the surviving spouses age is. Widow has to be 60 years old to receive survivor benefits and cannot be remarried. Also, there are earnings limits to receive full benefits.

What she isnโt telling you is if you both got Social Security, if you want his amount after he dies, you canโt get yours. You can get his or yours, not both. ๐
