It’s called *champions* league. Not 2nd 3rd and 4th place league. Surely a champion of a european competition has more of a claim to be in the *champions* league than 4th or even 5th place finishers?

Basically when you win the europa league you get "promoted" to the champions league, just like when you win the championship you go into the prem i see no harm with it
