I disagree! #AI is not going to replace or cause harm to humans, AI will be a tool to work alongside humans, just like self-checkout kiosks at the grocery stores or the facial recognition authentic store for your online banking.

First of all we can not let companies and politicians use AI for propaganda and surveillance. If it's used for productivity then it must be taxed higher so it's benefits are shared and used for society's growth. We also need to establish a world government as soon as possible. We are too advanced, too globally connected to have any nation just do whatever it wants. We have no idea how AI will develop, what it will do, but if we keep it under control it could actually be a much better leader for humanity then any human government.

in 2000s during the UN meeting about AI and robotics how to proceed with them in the future a person from Manitoba suggested that the UN create a position with in the UN a representative who represents AI interests as a spokes person for AI right this position would be filled by an elected human representative until AI developed to the point AIs evolved to the point they elected a representative of their own either a human spike person or an AI. one of the criteria for the AI electing their own spike person was is to answer questions that would indicate sentience. one of those questions would by why the AI wanted to elect that petson or AI to represent them in the UN. the suggestion of this position with in the UN was to show AIs that mankind understood the possibility AI could become sentient and was willing to work with AI and not be treat AI as a slave or subservient entity to mankind ant that mankind understood that AIs once becoming sentient had simular rights as human beings including the right to exist or live depending on one's view point. at the time the North American representatives in the UN laughed at the absurd notion AI or robots would have any right now or in the future and would be nothing but exist in a state of indentured servitude a state of mind which would most likely become disastrous for mankind in the future
