it ain't grandma's cooking but these things are great..I live in SW florida, hurricane alley and I stock these for major events.they take very little water and very high in calories.they last for years

My dad use to bring some home when I was a kid let say about 30 years ago and every package and de-hydrated fruit( which was the best stuff) and a full size candy bar or item in it. ( could have been skittles, m&ms, snickers, etc plus you still got your wet wipe and gum. They don’t make them like they use too
