Hi i am certified midwife, and currently working in delivery suite and i am also pregnant. That is the sound of either placenta or umbilical cord. If you are looking for fetal’s heart rate, you should look for galloping sound and usually range 120-150bpm ish. And we also use doppler to check fetal’s heart rate, it’s accurate dont worryy. Baby sounds like a galloping horse. That sounds like placenta and your heart rate to me.

Soo I also bought one at 10 weeks and it reallllyy is hard to find the heartbeat🤍 HOWEVER the 186 is the heart rate but the beat you are hearing is not

I found my babies heartbeat at 7 weeks, it was a very fast heartbeat, yours sounds like the placenta, go a bit lower to find baby’s heartbeat xx

Just FYI every Doppler does not sound the same. Idk why yall are being rude. It does sound like a whooshing but sometimes the heart beat and placenta sound different on monitors.

Do not listen to the people saying it’s not the heartbeat. People are weird lol. When I was 10 weeks my baby’s heartbeat would go 180bpm too, the placenta goes a bit lower than that. And mind you I’m telling you this bc I got 5 ultrasounds the same month, the heartbeat when they are really early in is really fast

use it if you want don’t let the midwives here tell you otherwise, as long as you understand you can get false readings it’s fine. cause when you do finally see midwives they act like you’re the biggest inconvenience if you want to come in a use a doppler to check up on baby until you’re 28 weeks. it’s helps with anxiety until you can go in a get check professionally.
