No, sweety, we're going to pronounce it "saLmon" because the L is in the word - and honestly, y'all are being ridiculous! Why do you English *natives* think you have the right to tell the rest of the world to mumble, isn't it a nonsense? If the L isn't supposed to be there, then just take it out of the spelling! 😅
