Late last night, Pakistani authorities escalated their repression by targeting the residence where protesting Baloch families were staying. The landlord was harassed and intimidated, Water supply to the flat was cut off, And shortly afterward, families were forcibly told to vacate the premises. Today, on Day 6, heavy rainfall has once again hit Islamabad, yet these families including women, children, and the elderly, continue their sit-in, without any shelter, shade, or tents. For the past three days, all roads leading to the Islamabad Press Club have remained blocked, and authorities have continued to deny permission to set up a protest camp at the site. Despite these calculated efforts to wear them down, through rain, heat, displacement, and police obstruction these families continue to resist, holding firm to their demands for justice, accountability, and the safe release of their loved ones. We urge all democratic forces, rights defenders, and conscious citizens to stand in solidarity with these families and amplify their voices. #ReleaseBYCLeaders
