Looking for your next Okanagan adventure? 🚲🛶🥾 We just spent two days exploring the laid-back beauty of Lake Country, BC with @tourismkelowna This area of the Okanagan provides stunning views in every direction, multiple lakes, rolling mountains and the best small-town vibe. Here are 3 must do adventures to experience the best of @Lake Country 👇 🚴 Bike the Okanagan Rail Trail - This 52 km trail connects Kelowna and Vernon. We biked the sections around Wood Lake and Kalamalka Lake with beautiful views of turquoise waters, red rock cliffs and mountains in the distance. The trail is flat, maintained and easily accessible. 🛶 Kayak Kalamalka Lake - One of the most gorgeous lakes we’ve ever seen! It’s famous for its turquoise colour which is caused by limestone deposits that are affected by the sun and the heat. Which means the colour of the lake changes throughout the year and the most intense blues come in the summer months. ✨ Bonus: find the hidden cave at Smiley Cliff. 🥾 Hike Spion Kop - A 7.1 km moderately challenging, out-and-back trail. The summit trail leads you to an incredible view of the Okanagan Valley and all of Lake Country’s lakes: Okanagan Lake, Ellison Lake, Wood Lake, and Kalamalka Lake. Which adventure would you do first? 🤔 #explorekelowna #lakecountry #explorebc #explorecanada @Thompson_Okanagan @Destination British Columbia
