Don’t really understand him. Ukraine has been qualifying to participate in Grand Final each year for the past 20+ years. And only this year when they (again) qualified people started accusing them of having “advantage” or “bringing atmosphere to the table”. What atmosphere? Did they win the first place? Or at least 5th? Did they shout anything inappropriate from the stage? Did they provoke anyone? They had the same “advantage” as everybody else. If you ban countries, that are suffering, from global stage, from participating in global events and from global communities, then everybody would just forget about them and about their fighting. By doing so you will literally doom them to being erased completely. Such events are a chance for them to be seen, to show people that they are still there, to show that their country is still existing. If you close your eyes and cover your ears and eliminate everyone who is being suppressed because they bring tense atmosphere then how would you even know if justice has ever been served for those who are suffering

So Croatia diaspora has about 1 million people in Europe and Poland has diaspora about 20 million people. Ukraine diaspora has 1,5 immigrants and 4,5 refugees what is obviously less than Poland. Does it mean Poland has their votes because of diaspora? Or your judgement going only against Ukraine 🙄

So, if war will be continuing for years (pray no), then Ukraine should just be away from Eurovision, or stop doing music and spread it, or just put lives on stop?! Ukraine haven’t started this terrible war, and you know, people in Ukraine just trying to move on and keep living, because life continues and years can’t go back. And it’s the chance to bring Ukrainians some light through this dark times and show the others, that we continue to live, create, and create a really high quality content (if you remember, Ukraine has always been on top on Eurovision) p.s boys from ziferblat were afraid of no qualifying because of haters 😪

I don’t think Ukraine should be punished for being invaded! Also, The UK public vote every year is heavily influenced by our immigrant populations from Lithuania and Poland voting for their home countries. It’s just a part of being in Eurovision
