My MIL runs our preschool and she always says rip the bandaid off and do one “goodbye- I’ll pick you up this afternoon have fun!” And leave. The faster you leave the faster he’ll stop crying 😭 it feels awful but it gets better i promise 💖

My 3 year old had a hard time off and on allllll year long. I just had to drop her off and leave quickly despite the tears…then she says she had fun. But still cries next time. But we are ending the year strong bc she made friends.
