@WulfFan:Guys dont comment, the longer the comment the more chance of getting it on your for you page. And we don’t want that, so be safe and don’t comment any long comments. Just keep it short. Actually, due to the fact that the hashtags don't say anything related to this type of content, then you will only most likely get more videos from this creator or not get these types of videos as much because of the hashtags taking over that section of what tt thinks you want to watch🥰🥰😏

My home birth 👼🏼 for the full vlog head to my YouTube channel (link in bio) 💫 I wanted to share this raw & real special moment with you all because when I was prepping for my birth I struggled to find many positive first time baby home birth stories. When I first found out I was pregnant I knew I wanted to fully immerse myself in the birth experience and that I wanted 'feel' everything. So I then spent months researching and learning about birth and what happens during labour. For me personally, I found it empowering building up my knowledge around the subject and it helped me let go of any fears I had. Through my research I decided a physiological home water birth would be the best option for baby and me and that continuity of care plays a big role in having a positive birth experience, so I actually invested in a private midwife from 25 weeks pregnant. I had all of my antenatal appointments with her and she was the midwife present at my home birth. I did still attend my NHS appointments and scans though as I was aware there might be a possibility I would have to transfer into hospital, so I wanted the NHS to be up to date with my pregnancy, just in case. I also took part in a few hypnobirthing courses which I found really informative and helpful as it gave me an amazing tool kit for the weeks leading up to the birth, and the birth itself. I am so blessed and grateful my pregnancy was low risk and that I ended up naturally going into labour at exactly 39 weeks on Monday 6th January. I spent 4 days in early labour, having contractions on/off which I definitely found mentally and physically challenging as there were many times I thought 'this is it' and it wasn't. And then my amazing midwife visited me on Friday 10th January for a check up and ended up doing some biomechanics - a few pelvic exercises to see if it would help progress labour and within 30 minutes of her leaving my house my waters broke! Contractions quickly ramped up and things then went fast! I ended up giving birth 5 hours later in my living room in a birthing pool! It was a whirlwind of a week! The long early labour was something I hadn't quite prepared for, but I got through it and ended up having the birth I had manifested. I fully embraced labour, I surrendered, let go and tuned in with my body feeling every sensation. It was one of the hardest most intense experiences of my life, and I'm going to be honest, there was a point I thought 'I can't do this, I don't think I can go on'. But I did. I witnessed some incredible power from within me that got me through. I will never forget that moment I picked up our baby bear out of the water, his eyes wide open and the first thing he looked at was me ❤️ Pure magic ✨ And then thinking 'I DID IT', I've never been more proud of myself in that moment 🫶 Having a positive birth experience was so important to me and I am incredibly grateful that I was able to have the birth I had envisioned. I also have to take this opportunity to thank my amazing midwife Cheryl @the_holistic_midwife who has supported Robin & I on this journey and Amy @vitalitymidwifery who was my second midwife at the birth - the calm, positive energy they both brought to my home birth allowed me to feel so comfortable. And to my husband @robinstanford, thank you for believing in me, supporting every decision I made and getting fully immersed in the birth, I know for you it couldn't have been easy sitting on the sidelines but I couldn't have done it without you by my side. I'm going to film a little birth story rundown soon so if you have any questions comment below or DM me and I'll do my best to answer them 🙏🏼
