isnt VRR a hardware feature? how would that work with a tv that does not have it? feels to me that they messed up the information, but I honestly only thought the VRR is for handheld mode

I think the docks of switch 2 doesn't had vrr support. It's only the dock problem until they maybe sort out of it.

Got to play on a switch recently during one of those events. It works just fine as long as you don’t set your expectations too high. It’s not gonna beat a ps5 or ps4, but I’m pretty sure that was never the goal

I’m not suprised because the Switch 2 uses USB-C and uses the dock to convert to HDMI and there is no USB-C cable that supporte VRR

hiw is that lying and how does that make the switch that much worse? most tv don't even support vrr and they admitted long before release that it doesn't support vrr. it's not like they scammed people and that people didn't have enough time to change their decision because of one single insignificant feature

Look, I paid for an xbox series x that shuts down at starfield, space marine 2 and doom the dark ages even tho its clean, has space and checks all boxes. At this point I'm just happy if a game can run on a console 🤷🏻
