Ferrets can be scruffed just like cats. My vet used to just dangle my ferret for vaccines and it took like 5 seconds.

Mine lets me do it if i trap her on my forearm, laying her flat on me giving her head pets and doing it nail by nail slowly she does just fine. Some ferrets just hate it best of luck

Trust me when I say to give Ferrets Vaseline while trying to cut their nails. Vaseline is a very healthy treat for them and it’s a great distraction! I can cut my ferrets nails in two minutes now!!!
