Tore mines playing kickball😔 my husband swore i was being over dramatic till the MRI came back with a full ACL and bucket handle meniscus tear and needed immediate surgery 🙄

Yeah I tore my meniscus earlier this year during indoor track and I kept running on it until about April or march because during all of that time in between I went to a doctor who though it was rheumatoid arthritis so I went to a specialist who said you have no reason to be here. I kept going it kept getting worse so I demanded an mri which got approved and I found out I had a 7-8 mm tear in my meniscus I went back to the doctor and he gave me a reaction brace saying “with you’re age you do not want to have surgery because you will get arthritis earlier in you’re life”. It got worse and I got a second opinion and that doctor said “you need surgery” so we got it scheduled and then I had it I ended up being able to run at the later meets in the season and was actually doing pretty good almost broke 5 in the mile again.

That’s so real. Had a partial tear in my Pcl and was walking “just fine” (I was in so much pain)

tore mine in Feb 24’ Doc told me it was just swollen rest it… went back to football aug 24’ dead straight away… MRI Dec 24’ torn… surgery this thursday 🙏

8 had one doctor not want to do anything And had a second opinion and he drained fluid off my right knee and a cortisone injection for my 5 tears in my meniscus and ACL. I'm about to go back for another injection in the right and hopefully in the left

Bro I was is MMA a tore my acl without knowing. Continued training and hit PRs in the gym with that for TWO YEARS

I had self diagnosed a torn meniscus and a dislocated patella everyone else in Mexico family wise told me they won’t do surgery nor tell u there is nothing wrong that was like 4 years ago now after a meniscus meniscus debridement

At least they gave u a brace my meniscus is tore and my patella dislocated and got no Cartlidge I feel like there like ur black u can handle the pain

it pisses me off how i’m not taken seriously. i tore mine in april and the mri was supposed to be last wednesday but they messed up the scheduling so now it’s an ENTIRE month later. like by the time i get the mri nothing will be wrong

Had surgery for a torn MPFL, it tore again after 6 months but doctors refused to give another MRI because they didn’t want to be wrong & knew they did the surgery wrong 🥰

Doctors refuse to do an mri on my knee when I fell but they kept saying that I was faking it but they aren't the ones in pain we are and now everybody thinks that I'm a liar because x rays shoe no broken bones
