Well this entire process brought me to your account and it's made me want to read the book as well so that's a positive (at least for me!) Covers are hard to nail but you (and your publisher/editors) did a great job, it's eye catching and interesting! loved it.

I think the confusion is that just cause they rejected your ideas doesn't mean they thought the paintings were bad. just that they didn't think it was a good fit as a book cover.
