I have the exact situation with my son graduating this year, my current husband voluntarily gave his ticket to bio Dad because he knows my son is super close with his Dad, all the family that didn’t get tickets (including my husband) will still celebrate at his graduation celebration! I was so appreciative that my hubs was so selfless and mature about it, and didn’t make it about himself

I was trying to see stepmoms side until she brought up spending the day with the ex. Graduation is 2-3 hours tops, most families then go out to lunch or dinner, she can join them then.

As a stepmom, I would fully expect my step baby to choose idk the person who gave birth to him 🤦🏽♀️I wouldn’t do the raffle for the other ticket. She doesn’t deserve to be there.

As a stepmom I would 100% be ok with not being able to go. I would be a little hurt but just because id love to see her walk but it's my hurt to deal with. It's her day and her mom is her mom.

if I were a step mom I would would offer to stay outside the facility and ask dad to do a live feed and mom to send pics. meet up outside for family pics

Those three go to the ceremony and then everyone go to a celebratory dinner after that. Son doesn’t have a bad relationship w/Mom. It’s geographical.
