Of course. He dealt with the immediate issue - hungry. Did not pry. Did not remove her from the scene. Told her what he was going to do, asked if she was ok with that. Have homeless facilities step in to provide proper safety, assistance and guidance. And call the police.

Ok, I’m reading the comments on what he did wrong. He was put on the spot. It’s sometimes difficult to immediately make the right choice to help someone. However, he wanted to help sincerely. The police would have been informed when the shelter ascertained her age. He reassured her and didn’t leave her alone. ❤️
