It’s not just stats it’s narrative. 73 win team lost, first time ever losing being 3-1 up. Begged KD to join and KD got back to back finals MVP. It’s so easy (and factual) to then just say without KD they losing. It affects his legacy, and it will only get worse over time. The same way people use 3 of kobes rings being because of Shaq.
