That’s a United Nations warning issued today. After 11 weeks of total blockade, Israel has allowed a trickle of aid (93 trucks) into Gaza. But the UN says none of it has been distributed. The trucks are stuck at the border, waiting for Israeli clearance that never comes. Meanwhile, children are starving just miles away. Before the war, Gaza received 500 trucks of aid daily. Now, even with international pressure mounting, that number is a fraction of what’s needed. The UN has 160,000 pallets of aid ready to go, but Israel’s restrictions and inspections are choking the flow. This is not a logistics issue. It’s a man-made catastrophe. The European Union is reviewing its trade agreement with Israel. The UK has suspended trade talks, calling the situation “morally unjustifiable.” But statements aren’t saving lives. Over 53,000 Palestinians have been 💀 since October 2023, the majority women and children. Hospitals have been 💥. Aid convoys have been looted. And now, infants are 🏴‍☠️ of hunger while food sits just out of reach. This is egregious. It’s a violation of international law and basic human decency. We cannot look away.
