tbh this is why AI art is so good. Software developers will work 1000 hours on a project and then make it open source. Artists will spend 5 hours on some low effort slop and expect payment

The game director was following the artist for years, as much as graphic realism is a general art style it's realllllly hard to tell just how much of the game's art style was directly lifted from this artist.

The one last positive thing about Marathon, their art style, isn't even theirs. There is officially nothing positive out of Marathon. Gameplay is too clunky and slow, Classes are Unbalanced (One has wallhacks and the other has invis IN AN EXTRACTION SHOOTER), and the map and colors contradict each other. This was Bungie's last chance to rise back up from the dirt and they did everything wrong. Sony might actually drop them atp with how negative they're presenting Marathon in.

artists first mistake was uploading it to Twitter. twitter/x owns the rights to all images uploaded to their platform 👍 read yiur end user license agreement people. at the end of the day theft is theft and bungie messed up
