Waited till we met for the first time to inform me that he's actually a divorcee - I've no issue with divorcees but a heads up would be nice 😭 then he proceeds to spend the rest of the date regaling me on the shortcomings of his ex-wife and the divorce proceedings + how many businesses he owns but then he asked me to pay for snacks since he paid for dinner + movie. After which he invited me to go drinking with his friends and asked me to split the cost for drinks - at Stickies 😃 (we are in our 30s wtf are we doing at Stickies bruv)

we went jogging so after we sat for some chitchat to catch our breath. he told me he sometimes order grab and then after he received the food he will feedback to grab say nvr receive or cold food, so he can get a refund and have a free meal. he proceeds to laugh at his "joke"

mine was when he showed up to our dinner date ranting about med school… i was so put off by his depressed demeanour that i called him out for it and he said “sorry, i guess this is just a drs way of life” 😭 IM SRY but u aint even a dr yet…… he never offered to pay for the meal (but again understandable bc we were both graduating students at that pt) then put my in a cab with his drop off location first. Texted me so nonchalantly after that saying he hoped i enjoyed the date and asked if i would be open to see him again… (i did not and didnt get back….) LOL surprisingly we reconnected some months after that, almost got married but thank god we didnt bc his fam was a lil bizarre to put it nicely…

Mine was a date and he came in his Uniqlo t shirt and flip flops. Lied to me that he has a car when it really doesn’t matter. Couldn’t pay the bill at the restaurant, when he said he would pay, I’m willing for Dutch. Finally he had the cheek to ask if I wanted to go “rest” in hotel 81. Ugh.

Met this dude for supper and he looked NOTHING like his pics. After supper he suggested driving to a park nearby to stroll n chat. He drove to a rural area (like those pasir ris farmway roads but up until now i have no idea where it was) where there were NO OTHER CARS arnd and he forced himself on me. Just glad he didn’t succeed.

I vividly remembered having a first date with a lady whom I met online. She initiated to meet at AMK hawker centre (the one near to AMK library). Ok fine maybe she prefers hawker food. Then she turned up in ah ma style pyjamas which absolutely left me stunned. Seeing my expression, she said "oh I stayed just few blocks away". 😭😭😭 Quickly finished my meal and made an excuse to leave.

Met this guy at kallang for dinner, he chose a cheap dinner place, that's fine. Kept pushing me to order and cash out first so he dont need to pay my share, that's fine. Says let's go for coffee, went to Starbucks after I ordered he says, not feeling it, I cashed out, that's fine. Mid way ask me if can drink my coffee, thats fine. Bro happily drink and finished it, thats fine. 1030pm.... and he asked me, can drive me home? What's worst, I didnt know how to reject and said okay... im too disappointed in myself.
