@southyorkshirefire: Our Control room have reported an increase in cat related 999 calls- most of which we don't actually respond to! So let's clear things up. We do not attend the following incidents, all of which we've received 999 calls about recently: 😹 Cats up trees 😺 Cats on roofs 😼 Cats scaring people 😾 Cats in hedges annoying dogs 😻 Cats entering random people's bedrooms We only ever attend cat incidents: ✅ After a request from the RSPCA ✅ If a cat is physically trapped or entangled in something We hope that helps! 🐈 (and please let your cats know too 🤭)
