The whole system needs a rethink. My SIL gets +/- £200/week. Nearly half goes on heating because the council won't let me get an electrician in to install a timer /working thermostat (and won't do it themselves). The other half goes on her contribution to carers. There is no incentive for us to reduce her carer time because council would take 100% of the cost reduction. We have to pay for her food because there's nothing left.

Tax wealth. And break up all the tax loopholes which the very wealthy have taken advantage off. £1 trillion has been pumped into the economy for covid. Where has that money gone. It doesn’t disappear. It’s about £25,000 per every single adult in the uk. And I can tell you now we are not £25k better off. It is the asset rich that has that money and the Tory corrupt mates. These people need taxing hard. Get it done. If they leave they can’t take there assets with them. Companies like Amazon, google will not bite there noses off to spite there face. Get the greeedy sods to pay there way.
