Just as a side note to anyone asking about the nose bopping, this is something we have always used to cheer Nan up. Something that has always worked for us when Nan is distressed. 💗

My nanny is in an aggressive stage of dementia it’s so hard when they hit u and shout at u I work as a carer but haven family like this is harder x

I cared for people with dementia in A&E regularly for like a decade, hearing those people shouting for their mummy’s always tears me up, every single time. Such a horrid disease!

This is so reminiscent of my experience with my mother who passed away from this dreadful illness in 2022. It’s a distressing time and my Mum suffered for many years, 8 in the care home. Some days you didn’t know how she was going to react but my love for her was constant, dementia is just awful

My dad Thort he was a pilot in World War II and Thort me and my mum and daughter was going to get bombed the stories he was telling us some times was fascinating to listen
