Does anyone get their ectopic beat and their body reacts by giving them a little surge of adrenaline, like a small fight of flight response. I get ectopics sometimes followed by a weird uncomfortable warm sensation through my veins in my body which I’m assuming is adrenaline and within seconds my heart rate will increase a little.

Once I got them pretty bad before I had to speak in front of people. I went into a bigeminy rhythm. I felt the rush of adrenaline before I got them. Of course they stopped when I saw the hospital and felt safe. My cardiologist said that it was due to anxiety and adrenaline and it is not dangerous, but it feels that way.

Some of you are woken up by ectopic heartbeats when you are falling asleep? As if the heartbeat stopped for a second.

My cardiologist had a good long talk to me after my constant panic about them, he told me they’re benign and I’m safe and since then I live with them and accept them, that’s the key, once you know you’re fine, allow them in✨

32 years of ectopics and I will NEVER get use to them….. I live with them but I absolutely hate them….. They still take me to hospital 2-3 times a year
