I think Krakens knives look pretty nice. That said, to compare one to a Milwaukee fast back that is specifically made for tradesman to be used as a utility knife on the job is wholly unfair and disingenuous. Two knives made to serve entirely different roles, and cater to very different prospective customers.

How well do they hold an edge? Using it to open plastic bags of dirt, concrete bags and gardening and construction work. At the end of the day I bet it will be dull and hard to resharpen or you have to sharpen everyday.

it's a sheath... and g10 is the entire handle material... not the little checkering on the g10...

I have hundreds of edc like these in all budget ranges and these kraken knives have been a pretty decent for what they are. This is a good price for this type of mid/low budget edc.
